Your account

Your Discord id, balances, level and experience, upgrade levels, aggregate game statistics, and when you joined, last played and may next claim.

Every movement of chips

One append-only row per movement: the amount, the balance after it, the reason, the table it happened at, and who caused it.

Your balance over time

A periodic sample of your balance, which is what the charts are drawn from.

Your hands

One row per hand you were part of: which game, and the result recorded for you.

Your sittings

What you bought in with, what the table paid you, and what you left with.

Lines that name you

Operational log lines carrying your id, kept for 14 days — plus any feedback you sent, which is kept until it has been dealt with.

Your signed-in session

While you are signed in to the browser: a live Discord access token for the identify and guilds scopes, and the profile Discord returns for you. It is deleted when you sign out, and otherwise 24 hours after your last request. The export returns only when each session expires, never the token itself.

Chipsy stores no display name and no avatar. There is no column for either: when a name or a picture is shown, it is read from Discord at that moment and forgotten again.

Your session

Set when you sign in, and the only thing that keeps you signed in. It expires 24 hours after your last request, and signing out deletes both it and the row behind it.

Where you were going

Set for ten minutes when you are sent to sign in, so that you land back on the page you asked for rather than on the home page. It holds a path on this site and nothing else.

There is no third cookie: no analytics, no advertising, nothing loaded from anybody else except the avatars, which come from Discord. Looking around without signing in sets no cookie and leaves no record.

The chips are counted across everybody who plays, so the record of who won what cannot have your part cut out of it without the totals going wrong for everyone else. That is the one limit. Here is what can be done:

• Signing out deletes your session and the Discord access token in it, immediately. Staying away for 24 hours does the same thing on its own.
• Making your bankroll private from /profile takes you off the leaderboard. You can do that yourself, now.
• Asking for your account to be removed is done by hand, by a person, at the address below. What stays is the record of hands already played, with your Discord id on it, because the chips in them have to keep adding up.

There is no button for that last one, and no way to be taken out of hands that are already finished. Log lines naming you delete themselves after 14 days.

Nothing is at stake here. The chips buy nothing outside Chipsy, and running out costs you the wait for the next reward and nothing else. If the turn notifications get on your nerves, the bell in the header mutes them.
